AfroArte Uganda’s community art initiatives empower individuals, principally women
and youth groups by providing opportunities for skill development. We conduct
workshops and training sessions equip participants with artistic skills and techniques.

themselves creatively.
Mental Health and Well-Being
AfroArte Uganda engages community members in artistic activities that improve
their mental health and overall well-being. We involve them in art therapy programs

encourage participation in the arts and community service activities like community
cleaning exercises, tree planting activities. The engaged youth are less likely to
engage in negative behaviors and more likely to contribute positively to their
